Catherine Zeta Jones’ newly lean and toned physique left onlookers stunned when she arrived at a charity event. When asked about the Hollywood obsession with weight, the former West End dancer said that she thought the race to get slim soon after having a baby was awful.
“My muscles have memory from the time I danced, and it’s quick for me to get back in shape, but I’m not fanatical,” a newspaper quoted her, as saying. “I grew up with dancers, and when anorexia and other disorders were common, so I learned how to deal with diets without losing my limit,” she said. “I think it’s awful, this competition in the US between actresses who just had a baby, to see who’s first to get back to their normal weight. It’s insane. I find this wave of super-skinny women scary,” she added
