Application forms have been invited by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS), Panagad, Kochi, Kerala for admission to PG programmes of Academic Year 2011, offered in the various constituent Schools of the Faculty listed below.
I. School of Aquaculture and Biotechnology
II. School of Fisheries Resource Management & Harvest Technology.
III. School of Aquatic Food Products and Technology
Courses & Eligibility:
(i) PhD programme:
Eligibility:
A Masters’ degree in Fishery Science (MFSc.) in the respective discipline recognized by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies with an OGPA of 7.0/10.0. (In the case of SC/ST candidates, an OGPA of 6.5/10.0 ).
(ii) MFSc Programme:
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in the Fisheries Science (BFSc) recognized by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies with an OGPA of 7.0/10.0. (In the case of SC/ST candidates an OGPA of 6.5/10.0 ).
For ICAR quota candidates a minimum of 6.0/10.0 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent % marks in bachelor’s degree (SC/ST 5.5/10.0 is the requirement).

The downloaded application should be printed on A4 size paper. The filled in application forms may be submitted along with application fee as detailed below to the Registrar, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean studies, Panangad P.O., Kochi 682506, Kerala - so as to reach on or before 16.06.2011.

The application fee shall be paid by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the
Registrar, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean studies, Panangad, payable at the State Bank of Travancore, Vytilla branch, Ernakulam
